Membership Application

YES! I'll help my fellow veterans by becoming a member of The American Legion. I certify by forwarding this application that I served at least one day of active military duty after December 7, 1941 as indicated below and was honorably discharged or am still serving honorably.

If you sign up through our website or in-person for American Legion membership, Post 8 currently covers the first year's dues.  Renewals are payable at the $40.00 yearly rate.  You can renew online at https://legion.org/renew.

In order to complete the sign up process, we will need to see a copy of your DD-214 (or proof of your service if still active), you can provide in person, via mail (send to PO Box 11312, Casa Grande, AZ 85130) or you can email it vicecommander@casagrandelegion.com.  Please blank/mark out your SSN if it shows. 

For potential Sons of the American Legion (SAL) members, we are currently working to restart our SAL Squadron at Post 8.  If you are male descendant (biological, adopted or step) of an active American Legion member or if your deceased veteran would have been eligible to join the American Legion, we would love to have you join us.  Select the SAL application, complete and submit it.  Once we have at least 10 SAL members (new or transfer), we can resubmit for our SAL charter for Squadron 8.  If you have a copy of your veteran's DD-214, please submit it via the instructions above.
